The Spa Life Social Media League Tables

The Spa Life Social Media League Tables

Social media has become an essential element of the marketing mix for spa & wellness organisations - both suppliers and operators - and many of us have been quick to build our platforms as a means of reaching a wider audience.

Of course, the measurement of social media activity has many components and success should not be judged by the number of 'Likes' or 'Followers' alone, but building an audience is still a major goal for all our businesses.

So how are you doing in comparison to the competition?

Measurement of social media is not all about 'Likes' but it is important to build your audience

Spa Life has completed a review of the face book and twitter accounts of more than 150 spa operators and suppliers who have attended the event in recent years and recorded the number of followers they have achieved in each channel.

Working closely with the team at The Spa PR Company, we have analysed this data, ranking each organisation to create the first Spa Life Social Media League Tables. There are four League Tables in total covering Operators & Suppliers in facebook and Twitter and these make very interesting reading.

We will regularly repeat this review and re-publish the League Tables each month, reporting on any significant movements and prepare a short case study on the successful social media campaigns that have resulted in the organisation's climb up the league.

But for now, we congratulate the spa sector's front runners, outlined in the Top 10* lists below.
