South Lodge Hotel in Horsham has opened its new £14m spa, The Spa at South Lodge.
Boasting 14 nature-themed therapy rooms, herbal and salt steam rooms, a juniper-infused sauna, two swimming pools and the UK’s first heated natural swimming pond, the 44,000 sq ft spa draws inspiration from the South Downs.
Owned and operated by Exclusive Hotels & Venues, the spa was designed by architecture firm Felce & Guy, while SPARC Studio spearheaded the interior design. The spa is located inside a standalone building overlooking the South Downs and has floor to ceiling windows, designed to bring the outside in and extend the spa into the grounds. Guests are transported from the hotel via stretched electric tuk-tuks.
Other facilities include a gym, spin studio, yoga and Pilates studio, barber and male grooming bar, and a nail salon.
The spa is the only one in the UK to offer treatments from Hungarian skincare Omorovicza. It will also offer its own exclusive bespoke product range.
