Blythswood Square Spa goes au naturel

Blythswood Square Spa goes au naturel

Glasgow’s The Spa at Blythswood Square has launched an enhanced natural approach to wellness with a nod to the pastime of ‘taking the waters’, when spas were considered an important therapeutic social hub. The ‘co-spa’ concept will encourage guests to socialise and in doing so boost a sometimes forgotten sense of wellness - the sense of community.

The new treatment programme takes the best of British brands, with organic seaweed as its lead ingredient. Farmed and delivered freshly every week from Scotland’s Hebridean Islands, seaweed is used both in its natural state and incorporated into a range of therapeutic products under the label Ishga.

Other lines include Cornwall’s Made for Life and ila. Spa services on offer include a holistic range of face and body treatments including massages, wraps, facials, bespoke therapies for Mums-to-be and Cancer Touch Therapy to support those going through a cancer journey.

The new, sociable 'co-spa space' has been created in the 10,000sq ft spa to encourage guests to talk, socialise and make friends. The co-spa space complements Blythswood Square’s expansive Thermal Experience and acts as a hub pre, during and post spa experiences.

The Spa at Blythswood Square offers nine treatment rooms, a thermal suite, two relaxation pools, a lounge and café.
