Manchester’s The Spa at the Midland has appointed Rebecca Holmes as its new Director of Spa.
Rebecca will be commencing her role on the 10th December, replacing Helena Grzesk, who is leaving to become General Manager at the UK Spa Association.
Prior to joining The Spa at The Midland, Rebecca held senior positions in Handpicked Hotels and Macdonald Hotels and was most recently Spa & Leisure Development Manager at Brooklands Hotel, Surrey
She says: “I see a number of prospects to build on our existing programming and offerings. My philosophy is to create a friendly, fun yet professional environment and inspire confidence in everyone that enters the spa with service excellence.”
The Spa was recently awarded the prestigious ‘5 Bubble’ rating for the fourth consecutive year by the Good Spa Guide. It was also named as a finalist in the North West Spa of the Year category at the Professional Beauty Regional Awards 2018, and has now been shortlisted for Professional Beauty 2019 Awards, in the Residential Spa of the Year: 10 Rooms or Fewer.
