 Ritz-Carlton reopens the Rainforest

The Ritz-Carlton, Ras Al Khaimah – set amidst a 500-hectare nature reserve in the Al Wadi Desert – has re-opened its newly refurbished, transformative Rainforest spa.

The Rainforest is a hydrothermal sanctuary combining the best of European hydrothermal culture with Middle Eastern bathing rituals. The result? A calming haven dedicated to holistic rejuvenation, offering a trail of 16 state-of-the-art hydrothermal therapies.

Facilities include affussion showers, aroma steam, a brine cavern, a bucket drench shower, a hammam and herbal sauna, an ice igloo, a rain walk, a sauna, a tropical rain shower and a vitality pool. Guests are encouraged to follow a mapped sequence to allow time for the body to cool after completing a warm station.

Experiences on offer include sunrise yoga, detox spa treatments, detoxifying face and décolleté treatments, seawater therapy and kneipp therapy.

The property is considered the Middle East’s Leading Luxury Desert Resort by voters at the World Travel Awards.
