Canyon Ranch will debut a new signature concept in California’s Silicon Valley in the US this summer. Canyon Ranch Wellness Retreats will be the spa and wellness group’s third property.
Nestled amongst ancient Redwoods in Woodside, California, the property will be the brand’s first foray into a retreat model. The 16-acre property will have 14 guest rooms and 24 rooms located in standalone tree houses. Guests will be able to opt for three, four or seven-day retreats.
Programmes at Wellness Retreat Woodside will centre around community-driven, introspective and nature-infused experiences. Guests will be able to take part in culinary and movement activities as well as more typical wellness activities and experiences to promote emotional wellness. Outdoor activities will include year-round hiking and biking to nearby world-class trails. A nature trail and a challenging obstacle course canopied by towering Redwoods will also be available.

The property will feature a boutique spa with sauna, indoor saline pool and whirlpool, plus a fitness-training zone. Wellness Retreat Woodside will be designed by Cole Martinez Curtis & Associates, with an aesthetic that embraces the surrounding natural beauty and creates connectivity with the outdoors throughout each space using expansive wraparound decks, private decks nestled in the forest and luxury treehouses are elevated on stilts.
