Stephan Wagner has been appointed as the new director of spa and wellbeing at Switzerland’s Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.
With six years’ experience managing the spa at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai and a spa management qualification from the Chiva-Som Academy in Thailand, Wagner brings a wealth of international spa expertise to the Swiss medical health and wellness resort.
Wagner also holds a Hospitality Management Certificate from Cornell University in collaboration with the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He says: “The resort’s history of the healing thermal water has fascinated me for a long time. I started my journey through the world of spas in Bavarian thermal baths, which makes it all the more special for me to return to the world of thermal water after some 25 years.”
In celebration of Grand Resort Bad Ragaz’s 150th anniversary, Wagner plans to refresh the spa menu, refocusing on the theme of mindfulness and increasing the synergy between the Medical Center experts and the spa.
