£2m revamp for Clifford Spa

£2m revamp for Clifford Spa

An independently-owned health club and spa in Nottingham has announced plans for an extensive redevelopment programme.

The expansion of Clifford Health Club and Spa will take two-years and is predicted to cost £2m. Additions to the property’s offer will include a large Fire & Ice Spa, a 1,700sq ft dry relaxation area and a herbal infusion steamroom and Hot Box.

Mark Clifford, owner of the club, says: “I am delighted to announce that after prolonged negotiations we have managed to secure additional areas for us to expand in, so that we can continue with our ambitious and bold expansion plan. The new areas will give us an additional 13,000sq ft to continue building something very special indeed.”

In the day spa area, there will be six new double treatment rooms and the health café will double in size. The roof space of the building will be used to create an additional 8,000sq feet of floor space.

The first phase of works, which includes the Fire & Ice Spa, is expected to open in January 2019.

The 4,000sq ft expansion of the spa is due for completion in July 2020.
