Ageing takes centre stage at GWS

The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) has announced a key topic for its October conference will be the massive, overlooked opportunities in the 50 plus market.

 

The agenda will tackle questions like ‘what are the new opportunities across wellness markets in the future longevity economy?’ and ‘how is the new 50+ demographic radically different than generations before?’

 

Also up for discussion will be how wellness brands can get beyond their obsession with younger generations and digest the spending power and new ‘ageing is cool’ mindset of today’s older consumers.

 

Keynotes will include David Harry Stewart, the CEO and founder of AGEIST, an LA-based media agency devoted to reinventing how life after 50 is experienced and understood, and Dave McCaughan, chief strategy officer at Ai.Agency and founder of consultancy Bibliosexual, which is currently leading major initiatives into the ageing markets of Asia.

With a 2019 theme of Shaping the Business of Wellness, the Summit will explore the most important investment and business trends across all global wellness markets.
