Acclaimed fashion designer Alberta Ferretti will deliver a keynote speech at this year's Global Wellness Summit (GWS). She will discuss the impact wellness has had, and continues to have, on the fashion industry.
As well as designing creations that have appeared on multiple red carpets across the globe, Ferretti has co-founded Aeffe, a manufacturing and distribution company, with her brother Massimo Ferretti.
GWS chairman and CEO, Susie Ellis, says: “We are absolutely thrilled to add Ms Ferretti to our agenda. She is a living icon who’s had an incredible impact on Italy’s fashion landscape, not only for the feminine-infused elegance and glamour of her designs, but also for a uniquely forward-thinking business acumen that has helped make Italian styling and design much more accessible to a global audience.”
This year’s GWS, taking place at Technogym Village in Cesena, Italy from 6-8 October, will focus on ‘Shaping the Business of Wellness’ and will also include keynotes from Italian architects Antonio Citterio and Matteo Thun and Technogym founder Nerio Alessandri.
