Apex City of London Hotel to open new spa

Apex City of London Hotel to open new spa

Set to open in Sept 2017, the new Apex Hotel spa facility will be run in partnership with Pure Spa & Beauty

The spa comes as part of Apex’s £1.5m refurbishment and will include five treatment rooms, an infra-red sauna, manicure and pedicure bars, a spray tan booth, relaxation and retail areas.

It will offer guests, as well as locals working or living in the surrounding area, a luxurious menu of pampering treats – including Elemis facials and massages as well as manicures, pedicures and waxing.

Brian Tapson, General Manager of Apex City of London Hotel, says: ‘We’re thrilled to be bringing a new spa facility to the capital. Guests and locals will benefit from having access to a relaxing space and some of the best treatments available, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for experienced therapists to join the team.’

The London spa is Apex Hotels’ second partnership with Pure Spa & Beauty, following the launch of a Pure Spa in Edinburgh in 2016. Becky Woodhouse, CEO at Pure Spa & Beauty, says: ‘We’re looking forward to adding another spa to our existing seven across the UK. We are encouraging experienced spa managers and therapists, as well as beauty therapists, to get in touch about joining an award-winning team. It’s a wonderful opportunity to work right in the heart of London – providing a sense of calm to guests in the middle of a bustling, buzzing city.’

Independently-owned Apex Hotels is headquartered in Edinburgh and currently operates nine hotels in London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, with its 10th hotel due to open in Bath in August 2017.
