Center Parcs Longford Forest in Ballymahon has opened its doors, complete with Ireland's first Forest Spa, the Aqua Sana Spa.
The £10m Aqua Sana Spa has been designed to immerse guests in ‘the relaxing and re-energising powers of nature’ and offers a unique forest concept developed by spa consultancy Sparcstudio.
The purpose-built spa is currently open to residential village guests and will be fully open to Spa Day guests from 6th September.
It has 14 treatment rooms and four thermal zones: Nordic Forest, Hot Springs, Volcanic Forest and Treetop Nesting, offering 21 hot, cold, herbal and meditative experiences. Nordic Forest includes an Ice Cave and a Forest Rain Walk offering different scents, sounds and temperatures while Hot Springs features a Salt Steam Room, waterfall showers and two outdoor hot tubs,
The spa’s treatment menu is provided by Voya and Elemis.
