Austria-based medical resort operator, the Lanserhof Group, has acquired Grayshott Spa in Surrey.
Lanserhof and UK-based real estate agency London and Regional Properties (L&RP) will each acquire a 50 per cent stake of the award-winning spa.
Lanserhof is a family-run concern, operating spas in Austria and Germany and plans to refurbish Grayshott Health Spa and focus on its medical wellness offering. The historic property’s name will remain unchanged.
Grayshott spa currently offers 59 rooms and 36 treatment rooms, with medical spa offerings including blood analysis, hypnotherapy, emotional freedom technique and body composition analysis.
Set in 47 acres of gardens and grounds, the spa already offers award-winning, seven-day Health Regime, an intensive programme of digestive cleansing and weight loss and recovery retreats for those getting over illness, injury, surgery and cancer treatment.
