Bannatyne invests £375,000 in spa revamp

The Bannatyne Group has unveiled the results of a £375,000 investment in its new spa in Bury St Edmonds.

Formerly known as Clarice House, The Bannatyne Spa underwent extensive renovation work to create new treatment and relaxation rooms. Standout design features include the addition of walnut finish Karndean floors, bespoke heated mosaic treatment beds and unique mood lighting.

Elemis has also been introduced to the spa and the luxury skincare brand has created its own retail space which reflects its Mayfair couture beauty house, House of Elemis. As well as showcasing the brand's products, this unique space houses a Skin Reveal machine which enables customers to have their skin assessed using facial mapping analysis techniques.

Karen Wilkinson, Group Head of Spa for The Bannatyne Group, commented: “The newly refurbished spa is an essential part of The Bannatyne Group's ongoing mission to deliver an enhanced health and wellbeing service to our customers.”

Chief Executive of Bannatyne, Justin Musgrove, added: “We are really pleased with the final result of the refurbishment at the Bury St Edmonds spa. It means that we're now able to offer members and guests a comprehensive spa offering of first class treatments in a luxurious surrounding.”

With 66 sites across the UK under the Bannatyne Health Clubs brand, the company has around 195,000 members and employs around 3,000 people.
