Bannatyne opens Blackpool spa

Bannatyne opens Blackpool spa

Opened on 1st August, the new £80,000 spa at Bannatyne’s Health Club in Blackpool will feature Elemis products.

The spa, which will offer four treatment rooms – including one double – OPI manicure and pedicure stations, and a sauna and swimming pool, opens as part of Bannatyne’s strategy to invest in its spa and wellness facilities.

Karen Wilkinson, group head of spa for The Bannatyne Group, says: ‘The new Spa at Blackpool will complement the health club’s facilities and allow us to take the spa service to a new level. It will also support our focus on holistic health and wellbeing. It forms part of our spa investment programme in 2017 as we aim to deliver enhanced services to our customers.’

In May, Bannatyne invested £1.2m in upgrading its Bury St Edmunds Spa. Last month, it added the Weybridge Health Club and Spa in Surrey to its portfolio.

Also new this month, Bannatyne has completed a £1m refurbishment of the Colchester, Kingsford Park club. Updated facilities include a treatment room to cater for group bookings of up to six, a rasul for mud therapy, heated water and stone beds within the relaxation areas and VIP Elemis 1st Class treatment suites.

Bannatyne currently operates 68 UK health and wellness sites.
