Elemis announces upcoming launch of Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil
Launching in July, Elemis’s new Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil will contain a superbotanical Night Scented Stock Oil, which is high in Omega-3 essential fatty acids and has 10 times more Vitamin E than many other known natural oils used in skincare.
This is the first time Night Scented Stock has been grown on a commercial scale in England, solely to extract oil from the seeds for use in skincare. Currently grown on a relatively small scale, Night Scented Stock is a new superbotanical, which naturally broadens biodiversity as it blooms in the evening, thereby attracting nocturnal wildlife.
Also known as Matthiola Bicornis oil, Night Scented Stock helps to improve skin elasticity while Peptide4 – a tetra-peptide extract made up of four amino acids – aids the synchronisation of the skin’s own internal clock. Combined they work to ensure the skin feels replenished and revitalised on waking.
‘When we sleep, our skin restores and regenerates itself. However, with interferences such as blue light pollution, travel and imbalances caused by caffeine, alcohol and sugar, sleep cycles can easily be disturbed and broken.
