Sala Samui Chaweng Beach Resort in Koh Samui in Thailnad has opened a new wellness centre: the Sala Spa Chaweng.
The spa, which sits in the resort’s new Garden Wing, incorporates areas of light and shade, with moon-shaped elements and natural materials. It has been designed to reflect the changing phases of the moon, including the half moon and dark moon.
The spa’s six treatment rooms are named after the planets and bodies of the solar system: Dao Angkan (Mars), Dao Pud (Mercury), Dao Suk (Venus), Dao Sao (Saturn), Pra Chan (Moon) and Pra Arthid (Sun).
Each includes a private bathtub, shower and twin beds. Separate steam rooms are also available.
Skincare is provided by three leading Thai brands, I Plus Q, Divana and Dii.
