CIDESCO has revealed its line-up of speakers for the 66th World Congress and Exhibition. The event, taking place from 6-9 September in Stockholm, Sweden is themed ‘Beauty of the Northern Lights’.
René Nagels, dermato-cosmetic scientist and founder of Nannic R&D, will present on choosing the right type of radio frequency for non-surgical anti-ageing treatments, while South African chemist Trevor Steyn, the first person in the world to develop a live probiotic skincare product, will discuss live probiotics and their future in professional skincare.
Other speakers include microneedling expert Dr Andrew Christie, spa critic Dr. Andrea Bovero PhD – known as the ‘Spa Spectator’ – make-up artist Linda Mehrens Flodin and tattoo artist Jens Bergström.
The four-day programme of events will also feature a CIDESCO Examiners’ and Schools’ Meeting, General Assembly and a two-day exhibition.
The theme for the CIDESCO Make-up and Body Art competition will be ‘Gods and Creatures of the Norse Mythology’. Entrants are encouraged to create unique, artistic looks influenced by Nordic tradition and heritage.
