Dormy House Spa launches exclusive menopause retreat

The team at Dormy House Spa in the Cotswolds has announced the intention to launch a series of highly exclusive, luxury retreats for women, designed to foster a holistic approach to embracing the menopause.

The retreats, titled ‘Pause at the Manor’ will be hosted at sister property to Dormy House, Foxhill Manor and will accommodate a maximum of 10 guests who will enjoy the luxurious ‘Full Fox’ package comprising 3 nights’ accommodation with full board, inclusive of all soft drinks, champagne, and house spirits plus an itinerary of daily talks, workshops, and wellness sessions such as yoga, meditation, and Pilates.

The entire experience has been curated by and will be hosted by Spa Manager Bobby Griffiths and in-house yoga specialist, Jessica Lambert who will both be fully immersed in the care of the group, dining with them daily and chatting and looking after them for the entire stay.

The retreats will also be supported by a team of experts with a wealth of experience in their fields including Dr Jane Robertson of the famous Newson Clinic, who works as a menopause specialist and Marianne Andrews, a registered Nutritional Therapist who is passionate about helping mid-lifers get back their zest for life and be the best they can be.

Guests will also benefit from sessions with a professional stylist, who will discuss the language of clothes, emotional dressing and mindful shopping, and a workshop to create their own personalised aromatherapy blends to take home.

Bobby Griffiths said: “Our goal is to create an ideal setting for women to enjoy each other’s company and foster a close and intimate circle of trust and open communication where knowledge, information and experiences of the menopause can be shared."
