The spa equipment manufacturer Earthlite has acquired a new wellness lifestyle brand, Tara Spa Therapy.
The California-based company is a natural, organic spa and wellness brand, with clients including Canyon Ranch, Fairmont Hotels and Marriott. Founded by spa and wellness pioneer Tara Grodjesk, who has extensive expertise in ayurvedic medicine and aromatherapy, Tara Spa Therapy will sit alongside Living Earth Crafts, in the luxury division of Earthlite.
Grodjesk, who is also co-founder of the Green Spa Network, will join the Earthlite team as vice president, shareholder and chief product alchemist. She will also head up Earthlite’s newly formed Spa and Massage Products Division.
Earthlite CEO, Jim Chenevey, says: “We have known and admired Tara and her company for many years and we are so honoured to welcome her as Earthlite LLC’s first female corporate officer. We believe that Tara will make great contributions to Earthlite’s future direction, and her line of innovative spa products will absolutely thrive under the Earthlite and LEC umbrellas.”
