Elemis announce executive team updates to further strengthen position as no.1 premium British skincare brand

ELEMIS have announced three important executive updates to further strengthen ELEMIS’ growth and ambition as the number one British Premium Skincare brand.

Co-Founders Noella Gabriel and Oriele Frank will move with immediate effect to the roles of Global President and Chief Product and Sustainability Officer, with the aim of enabling the brand’s continued acceleration in strategy, change, growth and vision. In addition, CEO Sean Harrington joins L’Occitane’s Board as Executive Director ensuring long term brand representation at the highest level.

Over the past 18 months as President of Elemis USA, Noella Gabriel, ensured the business accelerated its growth and digital first strategy across the USA through the transition in ownership and subsequent record period of growth. As the pandemic evolved globally Noella’s drive, passion and leadership has been successfully leveraged across the business worldwide providing Elemis with an unprecedented performance in growth and profitability during the world’s toughest crisis. In Noella’s new role she will now be overseeing the USA, UK & EMEA directly through her management team as well as contributing strategically & operationally to the business performance across Asiapac, all with the continued support of Sean Harrington, CEO & Christopher Vieth, CFO/COO.

2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year. As a brand over the past 7 months we have had to pivot all our learnings from the last 30 years into transforming and future-proofing ELEMIS through a laser focused digital first innovation with agility. There are many different strategies during global crisis, we have found opportunities to really accelerate our global initiatives to ensure ELEMIS becomes stronger and ahead of the curve.

As Managing Director of the UK, Oriele Frank steered the UK business successfully through the transition from private equity owners L Catterton to L’Occitane and playing an instrumental part in future proofing the business through the COVID pandemic and beyond.

The COVID pandemic has focused the importance of driving major transformation throughout the ELEMIS business and a key priority for the brand is the development and implementation of a sustainability and a CSR mandate for the brand. Closely aligned with the key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ELEMIS will champion a sustainable vision focused on harnessing science, respecting nature, preserving the oceans and promoting health & wellness.

Oriele will be leading the transformation, focusing on the 3 key areas Product, People and Planet responsible for the global product development, pioneering the roadmap for major innovation in sustainable packaging and reducing carbon emissions across the whole company. As ELEMIS grows exponentially across the world, the brand continues to reinvest back into R&D, biodiversity, CSR, education and the ELEMIS community.
