The owners of the Gainsborough Health Club and Spa in Suffolk has completed a three-month project which saw a refurbishment and upgrade to its popular poolside facilities within their Grade II listed pool barn.
Work included a new Jacuzzi and Aspen Sauna plus an upgrade to the existing Steam room with all works completed by local builders.
Co-owner and experienced industry professional, Danielle Alen, designed the concept in conjunction with a local artist to create a detailed plan of the installation which was sympathetically implemented by the builders to blend perfectly into the barn’s authentic, rustic aesthetic.
The Aspen Wood Sauna has been completed with a new modern coal stove, giving it a contemporary look and feel while the Steam Room has been retrofitted with blue LED lights to provide a feeling of deep relaxation and calm.
General Manager, Danielle Alen said: “The support from our customers since we reopened in April has been amazing and we felt it was important to reinvest in the facilities for them.
We are so pleased with how everything turned out; we couldn’t have asked for this project to have gone any better”.
