Leading European manufacturer of high-end spa and medical equipment - The Gharieni Group, has provided several of their relaxation beds to the Virga Jesse Hospital in Hasselt to help frontline medical staff at the hospital relax and recharge during downtime.
The beds were delivered to the hospital during the Easter holidays by Gharieni BeNeLux and are already in use.
“During these difficult times our gratitude and appreciation goes out to the people who work in the medical sector as doctors, nurses or assistants. As a company that operates in the wellness and medical field, we have thought about how we can help with our products, even if we are not experts in intensive care equipment.” said a Gharieni Group spokesperson.
“Besides the demands for good medical care, we see how highly overworked staff in the hospitals and nursing homes deserved our attention.”
“We chose the Virga Jessa hospital in the belgium city of Hasselt which has more than 100 Covid-19 patients to care for at the moment, to support the medical staff to get the best relaxation possible in a very short time to recharge their batteries. That's why we offered to provide our Gharieni Spa Wave System, as well as several RLX loungers for the relaxation room of the staff in the hospital.

Due to the current demand for face masks caused by the epidemic, Gharieni has diverted production of its textile department to the manufacture of face masks with exchangeable nanofilters.
The mask which is washable at 60° are not suitable for intensive care use but will reduce the spread of droplet infections to others.
