The twenty winners of the annual Good Spa Guide Awards have been revealed in a ceremony that took place during a gala dinner at the Spa Life UK event on 15th November.
The Good Spa Guide Awards, in partnership with Aromatherapy Associates, showcase excellence in the UK spa market.
Split into two categories, the Regional awards were selected by the Good Spa Guide's Spa Spies, who have visited more than 150 spas this year alone. Awards included 'Best Spa in London', Best Spa in the East' and 'Best Spa in Scotland'.
The second category was the Readers' Choice National Awards, which were voted for by a record-breaking 72,000 spa-goers with awards including 'Best Spa for Wellness', 'Best Spa for a Day' and 'Best Spa for a Stay'.
Regional winners included The Bulgari Spa for 'Best Spa in London' with Pennyhill Park winning 'Best Spa in the South East' and Lucknam Park winning 'Best Spa in the South West'. Dormy House Hotel and Spa won 'Best Spa in the West Midlands' and 'Best Spa in the North East' went to Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall while 'Best Spa in Wales' was awarded to St Brides Spa Hotel. 'Best Spa in Scotland' went to The Spa At Gleneagles by ESPA and The Spa at St Pierre Park won 'Best Spa in the Channel Islands' with 'Best Spa in Northern Ireland' going to Galgorm Resort and Spa.
In the National Awards, Rockliffe Hall scooped 'Best Spa for Luxury', while Champneys Tring was named 'Best Spa for Wellness'. Stobo Castle Health Spa received the 'Best Spa for a Stay' award while 'Best Spa for Value' went to The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village and 'Best Spa for a Day' to Eden Hall Day Spa.
