Hepburn joins Harpar Grace

International distributor Harpar Grace has appointed Shelley Hepburn, formerly of The Ned and Gaia Spa, as its new UK head of spa.

Hepburn has 20 years’ spa and wellness experience, having worked with brands such as Thalgo, Espa, Swiss Perfection, Cowshed and Clarins.

At Harpar Grace International she will be working across the portfolio and managing the spa sector sales budget. She will also oversee the launch of Codage, Déesse Pro LED light therapy, Totally Derma Nutraceuticals and iS Clinical.

Hepburn says: “Having worked with Harper Grace International for the past five years I have gained a true understanding of the benefits of ‘innovational’ skin care. I have been fortunate to have specialised in this industry for just over 20 years and have witnessed the spa ‘culture’ evolve. The consumer needs when visiting a spa have changed as modern living entails a stressful, toxic lifestyle and in addition to relaxation, clients are looking for a full solution and now require professional advice alongside result driven treatments.

“I am very excited to be able to share my knowledge with other spa operators to help improve their spa business offer and to take a more future result driven solution in line with their current spa offering.”

Alana Maria Chalmers from Harpar Grace says: “Shelley is an accomplished, commercially focused and highly versatile wellness expert focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience to clients along with clinical skin care solutions. She has a consistent track record of operational and financial success and is able to translate customer and operational challenges into effective growth-led strategies whilst maintaining a relentless commitment to employee engagement, customer satisfaction and overall business performance.”
