hungarymud presents a sustainable product with multiple treatment options

Not many muds can claim a 120-year healing history with medical professionals and fit the operational demands of a spa environment, with multiple treatment options.

hungarymud is unique in its rich and synergistic blend of minerals, proven to stimulate blood circulation, aid in the release of toxins, ease joint and muscle stiffness, boost metabolism in tissues and build strength and elasticity in the skin, thanks to notable levels of silica that contributes to collagen synthesis.

All this means that hungarymud has manifold benefits: a plumper complexion, looser joints and pain relief, plus detoxification and emotional balance. It's 'grounding'.

In the famous spas of Budapest it treats 1000 people per day with inflammatory conditions, sports injuries, skin disorders and degenerative diseases of joints and spine.

Founder, Sophie Benge, set up hungarymud after travelling through 12 central European countries for her book, 'Spas and Wellbeing from the Baltic to the Black Sea.'

She says: "I love mud because it works. And it's so sensual. Of all the therapies this region is famous for, mud is hailed again and again as a real proposition for cure. With its medical credentials and organic beauty properties, hungarymud has huge scope for today's spas. And at home. Plus, it comes completely unadulterated."

Benge claims the product is ideal as a body wrap, face mask, foot soak, mud pack, bathing ritual and rasul or sauna treatment. It is perfect as part of weight management, detox, beauty, de-stress and anti-ageing programmes and can be used to ease muscles pre-massage.

hungarymud comes in its dry, all-natural state so has an indefinite shelf life. Its tiny granule size means it blends smoothly, swells in volume when water etc. is added, is soft and silky to work with and is easily applied and removed. And it flushes cleanly away.
The product is excavated in a low-tech manner from a natural reserve in Hungary, where it is sun-dried and filtered. Despite its 100+ year history in healthcare, still just a fraction of the deposit has been mined to date.

The product also works well as an ingredient in product development, or as a stand-alone face mask under your brand.

Quite simply, there aren't many muds like it - for therapeutic qualities, versatility and ease of use. And healthy financial returns.
