Australian fitness entrepreneur, Tony de Leede, and wellness thought-leader, Mia Kyricos, will jointly chair the largest conference on wellness economy taking place this year.
The 12th GWS, taking place from 6-8 October at the Technogym Village in Italy’s Wellness Valley, will focus on the US$3.7 trillion global wellness economy.

Tony de Leede is a successful fitness pioneer. He built Australia’s biggest fitness empire, Fitness First and is also a renowned wellness resort entrepreneur who co-owns a range of wellness hospitality businesses, including on-trend surf wellness brand, Komune.
Mia Kyricos, President and CEO of Kyricos and Associates LLC, has attended every Summit in the event’s history and sat on the GWS board for five years. With over 25 years of experience, Mia has helped to develop, operate, and market wellness-related brands across more than 100 countries.
The Global Wellness Summit is an invitation-only gathering for senior wellness executives. Held in a different location each year, Summits have taken place in the U.S., Switzerland, Turkey, Bali, India, Morocco, Mexico and Austria.
