SpaSeekers’ research reveals that Monday is the most popular day for UK spa consumers to book their next spa getaway.

It seems after a fun weekend, the back-to-work blues lead us to search for our next weekend adventure. The research reveals that combined packages are also growing in popularity; Spa Days including Afternoon Tea leads the list of most popular spa packages booked.

SpaSeekers is a UK-based spa booking agency which has a database of more than 500,000 spa travellers. Research into spa consumers’ latest online shopping habits found we’re all bargain Bettys at heart: ‘spa deals’ is the public’s most popular search when it comes to looking for a spa buy. And we love to dream in the colder months at the beginning of the year – January through to the end of April is most popular spa booking period of the year.

Group booking are on the up; the research noted a 30 per cent growth in group bookings year on year, with hen parties the most popular.

For the first time this year, the research also reports that mobile is now the most popular device for customer bookings. From a digital marketing perspective, the company found that organic search is still the top lead for bookings followed by PPC and brand awareness.
