Cornwall’s newest multi-million-pound spa, Mullion Cove, will partner with organic Irish seaweed brand VOYA when it opens this summer.
The new Mullion Cove Spa and wellness centre has been designed to evoke the UK’s most southerly county at every turn. The colours throughout reflect the area’s rich mining history, with coppers, bronzes, brass, tins, silvers and granite all featuring alongside shades of blue and turquoise, mirroring the ocean.
Opening in this month, Mullion Cove will offer three treatment rooms, an indoor hydrotherapy infinity pool, sea-view steam rooms, saunas, a salt laconicum, experience showers and a fully equipped gym. Outside, decking will sweep around the edge of the building, leading to the hotel’s refurbished outdoor, heated swimming pool and a hot tub and outdoor seating area – all facing the Atlantic Ocean.
VOYA products, which are made from hand-harvested wild seaweeds, will be used to create organic, seaweed-based spa treatments. The bespoke treatment menu at Mullion Cove will include regenerating facials, scrubs and detoxifying wraps.
