Multi-million pound spa for Ye Olde Bell

Multi-million pound spa for Ye Olde Bell

A famed hotel since the 1600s, Ye Olde Bell will step into the future with a new spa this June

The 17,000sq ft, two-storey spa will boast an indoor to outdoor vitality pool, a unique 'Snowstorm' experience plus Sabbia Med Sunlight Therapy. In total, Ye Old Bell’s spa will offer 10 hot and cold experiences, including a steambath, a salt cascade room, a mud Rasul, a Swiss pine sauna, a mineralising stonebath and a herbal laconium.

In addition to the experiences, the rural village spa – located in Barnby Moor – will offer guests an open fire, relaxation areas, luxurious changing rooms and a bar and restaurant with theatre style kitchen. Outside there will be a garden and relaxation areas. Products will be sourced from Germaine de Capuccini and boutique British cosmetic brand, Delilah.

The spa has been designed in conjunction with Spa Vision by spa directors, Sadie Ardron-Levack and Lizzie Bath, with interior design led by Hilary Levack and designer Tonia Wynne of Homestead Interiors.

Ardron-Levack says: ‘We are all thrilled about this new venture for Ye Olde Bell and when we open aspire to being recognised as one of the leading spas within the UK. We have worked closely with our partners to create a luxurious space that takes our guests on a unique journey.
