Proud of everything they do to create a more sustainable way of life, the brand has made great steps to ensure their products are eco-friendly, and as the Company has grown, so has their commitment to maintaining and preserving the natural environment.
Their gift boxes are now ‘grown to order’ in the UK from mushroom mycelium, a natural alternative to fossil fuel produced polymers, which means they are 100% compostable and break down naturally so they can either be dropped into the green waste or planted in the garden.
Avoiding single-use plastic is also a key priority for the brand, having recently launched their new 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) bottles and pumps to the new sustainable gifting range, as well as 5 litre refill bottles. PCR plastic is plastic that is made from post-consumer waste. No new fossil resources are required to produce PCR plastic; the material is made of waste which contributes to the reduction of the CO2 emission, relative to standard plastic, and it can also be recycled again after use.
Natural Spa Factory is also on a mission to prove the beauty industry can thrive by using sustainable ingredients. Their new avocado oil originates from South Africa where they utilize the damaged avocados considered unfit for sale as a fruit but still contain all their life boosting goodness. This high vitamin enriched oil is delicately cold pressed from the flesh of the avocado pear. Rich in vitamins a, b1, b2 & d, essential fatty acids, and minerals, avocado’s ability to penetrate and absorb into the skin is like no other. With super healing properties, this wonder oil aids in hydrating and repairing mature, damaged, or dry skin.
