SOFRI has launched Skin Guard, a new product that guards the skin from High Energy Visible light that can cause photoaging.
HEV light, also known as blue light, radiates from device displays such as TVs, flat screens, monitors, computers and smartphones. It is also a component of sunlight and latest studies show this radiation can cause oxidative stress and release free radicals, which can lead to photodamage, premature skin aging, hyperpigmentation and inflammatory skin conditions.
SOFRI Colour Energy Skin Guard Gel helps to prevent photodamage and inflammatory skin changes that can be caused by harmful light rays HEV light. It contains extract of nasturtium to strengthen the skin’s barrier function and provides for an improved oxygen supply and stem cells from cranberries to revitalise the skin after damage caused by light exposure. Finally extract of Mexican giant hyssop alleviates irritation and redness such as that of acne or rosacea.
