Aysun Mut, who has worked at Corinthia for seven years, has been named spa director for the flagship ESPA Life at Corinthia spa, replacing Laura Vallati.
In her previous role as interim spa director she contributed at executive level in overall strategy for ESPA Life and played a key role in the hotel opening team.
Her new position will see her guiding the operation and strategy of ESPA Life, with the task of ensuring the spa embodies the five-star luxury standards of Corinthia Hotels’ flagship property. She is also tasked with building on ESPA Life’s global reputation as the pioneer of a new generation of spas.
Corinthia Hotel London’s managing director, Thomas Kochs, says: ‘I am delighted that Aysun is taking the lead of our ESPA Life Spa, bringing a wealth of experience in leading large teams but also a professional and personal passion for spas, health, wellbeing and the concept of mindfulness.’
Mut says: ‘I’m looking forward to taking on this important role at Corinthia Hotel London, particularly in light of the trends towards wellbeing, mindfulness and achieving a work/life balance. These are all areas of specialism at ESPA Life.’
