Hoar Cross Hall in Burton-upon-Trent has appointed Phil Murphy as its new Leisure and Spa Director.
Murphy will oversee the leisure and spa facilities in the resort, which is set in 50 acres of English countryside. He will also be responsible for managing a team of 70 staff across both the leisure and spa departments.
Previously Group Leisure and Spa Operations Manager at QHotels and Macdonald Hotels, Murphy has 15 years industry experience in the industry. His first goal is to continue to drive the hotel’s spa to be the premier spa hotel destination in the UK.
Commenting on his appointment, Murphy says, “I am delighted to be joining the Hoar Cross Hall team. The hotel, grounds and spa facilities are some of the best in the business and I am looking forward to developing the potential Hoar Cross Hall has to offer in the UK spa market.”
