Azerai La Residence in Hue, Vietnam has unveiled its new spa. The 545sq m facility is more than 50 per cent larger than before and offers new thermotherapy areas.
Amenities including six treatment rooms decorated to reflect the great 1930s art deco era, along with Finnish-style saunas, luxury steam rooms and an ice fountain.
Le Spa has two double treatment rooms and four single treatment rooms, each with a fully private dressing area. Treatments use spa products made from local ingredients, such as coffee, sea salt and green tea.
The redesign was completed by the French-Canadian architect Pascal Trahan.
Phan Trong Minh, general manager of the hotel, says: “With the relaunch of Le Spa, we are signalling that Azerai La Residence, Hue intends to be a destination for spa lovers not only in Vietnam but throughout the region.
The hotel has also employed a new spa manager, Ronald Mutuc, a 20-year hospitality industry veteran who has worked in some of the world’s most acclaimed hotel spas.
