New treatment manager for Ramside Spa

New treatment manager for Ramside Spa

Ashleigh Hurson has taken the reins at the Spa at Ramside Hall, one of the North East’s most luxurious spas.

Hurson has been appointed as the Spa’s new treatment manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience in the spa and beauty industry. A former business development adviser for nail brand OPI, Hurson will oversee more than 30 therapists at the award-winning spa. She will also take over the day-to-day running of the spa, and plans to introduce new treatments and rituals alongside recruiting further therapists.

“I’m really enjoying getting to know the spa and the team, it’s such a fantastic place,” says Hurson. “The facilities are second to none and we already offer an unrivalled treatment menu, which I’m looking forward to developing as much as I possibly can.”

Hurson studied a degree in leadership at the University of Teesside and has worked within the beauty industry since graduating, including senior manager roles within Village Hotels and OPI.

“The new job is a bit of a change for me as Ramside is a totally independent spa and not part of a large group or chain, which I’m used to,” she said. “I’m incredibly excited about developing our treatments even more to ensure we continue to provide the best spa experiences the region has to offer.”
