This winter, Nimue Skin Technology is launching Microneedling treatments to salons and spas, for clients seeking visible skin rejuvenation.
Utilising Nimue’s derma-cosmeceutical products, the treatment uses a microneedle roller to stimulate collagen induction and serve as a transdermal delivery device to refine skin texture and reduce signs of ageing.
The skin is gently punctured with a cylindrical roller device that is studded with 192 sterile, fine, stainless steel needles. This stimulates the body’s natural wound healing and the production of collagen. The tiny punctures also serve as mirco-channels, enhancing the penetration of actives applied to the skin.
The treatment can be combined with Nimue’s TDS and Super Fluids for superior results.
For salons and spas, microneedling allows them to offer a professional, high-quality – and profitable – service without high costs. It also offers retail and treatment add-on opportunities, such as prescriptive home-care products or the addition of Superfluid’s and Collagen Masks for more bespoke and luxurious treatments.
