The Katara Beach Club by LivNordic Spa & Wellness opens in Doha
The new spa combines stylish Scandinavian design with holistic treatments under Raison d’Etre’s luxury hotel and wellbeing spas brand, LivNordic.
The 4600msq Katara Beach Club blends Middle Eastern and Nordic cultures to create a unique wellness experience. Elegant Middle Eastern hospitality is combined with modern Nordic design and traditional wellness practices, to allows guests to recreate the sense of wellbeing that Scandinavian counties are renowned for.
Natural green walls, timbers, coppers and plants bring the Nordic passion for nature to the forefront of the spa’s design. Inside, as is tradition in Middle Eastern cultures, men and women have separate facilities on their own floors. Both floors offer saunas, salt rooms and Nordic Bathing suites, where guests can try the age-old Nordic tradition of pairing a thermal experience with an ice-cold contrast. There is a relaxation area inspired by the Aurora Borealis and Qatar’s first ever ice room, the Snow Grotto.
The gym houses state-of-the-art equipment and overlooks 230 metres of private beach.
