Luxury hotel group reveals winners at a dedicated Spa Awards ceremony
The QHotels event recognised both individual spas and colleagues who went above and beyond to ensure they deliver the highest quality QHotels spa experience for customers.
The four-star hotel group, which has 26 properties throughout the UK, based the awards on financial and service performance. Winners were decided by QHotels Director of Leisure & Spa, Dave Heap. The Spa Therapist of the year award was a result of in-house nominations and a mystery shop activity in the spa.
With four winners and six runners-up announced during the evening, Bridgewood Manor Hotel in Chatham, Kent won Operational Spa of the year; scoring 100% in the ESPA mystery shop. Elaine Fisher from The Westerwood Hotel & Golf Resort in Glasgow was announced Spa Therapist of the year and The Westerwood also scooped the main award for ‘Spa of the Year’ for the second year running.
Dave Heap says: ‘We are tremendously proud of our spa staff and the standards they have achieved and congratulate all our winners. The spa business has become a vital part of our leisure offering and it wouldn’t be possible without our incredible people. We will continue to invest to deliver the highest level of service and satisfaction to our guests.’
