According to the distributor of beauty brands Sweet Sqaured, there are approximately 280,000 people currently working in the hair and beauty industry in the UK and 88% of these individuals are women. That’s nearly twice as many women on average than any other sector and the team at S2, think that needs to be celebrated!
From salon owners to beauty journalists, to session techs and activists, the beauty industry is filled with talented women from all sectors and Sweet Squared are shining a light on these fabulous individuals this International Women’s Day!
