Shake up for Spa Week

Shake up for Spa Week

This year’s National Spa Week, set to run from 4-11 November, will have an altered focus and be a trade-only campaign for the first time.

Now in its 14th year, this major change comes as part of new strategic plans for the UK Spa Association (UKSA) and will see the week offering something for the spa industry specifically.

National Spa Week was born out of a desire to dispel public myths around spa and encourage more people to try it by offering discounted treatments and taster sessions during a dedicated week, promoting the message that spa offers more than many consumers realised.

This year’s campaign will focus on the UKSA’s new ‘Work for Wellness’ campaign, which will be launched at the Summer Networking event on 16th September. The altered focus is designed to add value and drive education to the association’s members, addressing specific and reoccurring issues and challenges. Over the week, the UKSA will bring together industry experts to provide education, information and a set daily challenges, which will be on the National Spa Week website during early November.
