Kate Sornson has been named the new associate manager (marketing and communications) for the Global Wellness Institute (GWI)
The new role will also see Sornson working on the annual Global Wellness Summit.
In her previous jobs, Sornson managed social media for both the GWS and GWI, and has also worked as community manager and membership coordinator for the Green Spa Network.
Sornson represented the University of Houston in the 2012 Global Spa and Wellness Summit Student Challenge. She helped create the Houston Spa Association and was one of the first students to pursue a spa management degree at the Conrad N Hilton College at the University of Houston in the USA. She was also awarded the Mary Tabacchi Scholarship by the ISPA Foundation.
