Spa Life survey reveals interesting attitudes to live events

Spa Life Events continues to demonstrate it's propensity for innovation with a novel approach to customer research. Using a clever video tool, the team has created a simple questionnaire to gauge the mood of the spa community and it's attitude toward live events at this unusual time.


The purpose of the survey is to help the Spa Life team better plan and prepare for future events and initial indications are that this innovative approach has been very well received and generated many positive comments across the brand's social platforms.


More importantly, the survey is also yielding some interesting results about the industry's attitudes toward live events and the various safety measures and PPE that attendees will expect as standard. There are also some 'fun facts' about peoples aspirations and desires post-lock-down. For example when asked what event activities they were most looking forward to, more than 65% of respondents selected "A chin-wag with colleagues" with the majority of the remainder expressing as desire for "Stimulating the grey matter" at the conference.


Event Director, Andrew Hammond said "These are only the initial results with many more responses coming in every day but it certainly confirms that our audience is a social bunch and we very much look forward to reconnecting with them at our next event later this year".


An encouraging sign is that, so far nearly 80% of respondents said they would 'DEFINITELY' be happy to attend a virtual event if they were unable to attend a live Convention.
