Shared Beauty Secrets has launched two special edition Kokolokahi Sensory Retreat Candles, in partnership with two major UK charities.
‘Clarity’ and ‘Vitality’ are made using 100% natural vegetable wax, ethically sourced from sustainable origins, combined with natural coconut oil and pure essential oils. Accredited to the Vegan Society, the candles will raise funds for the mental health charity MIND and the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
Shared Beauty Secrets is donating £1 from each candle sale to the relevant charity.
Shared Beauty Secrets Founder, Clare Anderson, says: ‘Working in the beauty and spa industry, most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer or a mental health issue. My family has personally experienced the saddest side of mental health problems so I’m extremely proud to be in a position to support MIND. We started raising funds for Mind at our 10th anniversary party in January, raised more by running the London Marathon and now are continuing our support with a donation from our Clarity Candle sales. If we can make a difference to just one person then we will have made a huge difference.
‘We hope our candles will go some way towards helping both research into cancer and mental health, and supporting those who need it most.’
