Huddersfield’s eco spa, Titanic Spa, has invested £35,000 in creating a designated wellness area for its staff, complete with snack and coffee machines and Bluetooth speakers so employees can listen to music during their breaks.
The new room offers a bright, airy space for staff to take regular daylight breaks. It has been designed to ensure team members are leading the kind of wellness-focused lifestyles the spa actively advocates to guests and includes ‘living walls’, created to give both staff and guests a clean breathing space.
Warrick Burton, MD of Titanic Spa, says: “Ever since Titanic Spa launched, it has been our quest to run a sustainable business that really cares for the wellbeing of the planet, guests and our team. Having a happy team is crucial to running a business, and making simple steps to improve the lives’ of team members is what we are focused on.”
