Staffordshire’s Wellness Centre, MADE brings wellness into homes with #MADEAtHome

Staffordshire’s popular 360 wellness centre MADE has launched a new initiative #MADEAtHome, enabling individuals to reap the health and wellbeing benefits of it’s centre in the comfort of their own home.

The new programme from the luxury spa retreat based at Moddershall Oaks, comes in two parts: MADEtodream which helps to guide the public to a perfect night’s sleep; and VIRTUALLY MADE, an online fitness and wellness membership. Developed to encourage individuals to use time in isolation to focus on themselves, each programme is designed to help support physical and mental health during this uncertain period.

As anxiety reaches an all-time high, and over one third of adults getting less sleep than required, MADE recognises the importance of sleep on the body and mind. Each Wednesday evening at 9:15pm, MADE’s Facebook Page is hosting a free live 15-minute talk and 30-minute guided meditation session. Hosted by MADE’s expert yoga instructor Charlie, the MADEtodream session helps viewers relax, switch off, forget their current anxieties and achieve good quality sleep.

For those who are missing visiting their local gym or fitness centre, the new online VIRTUALLY MADE membership helps to bring health and fitness to living rooms or gardens. Each member will have access to a bank of videos for home work-outs and access to the MADE@HOME live classes where they can follow along in real time. MADE will also be providing workshops, clips and tips on all areas of wellness including perfect posture, as well as recipes and wellbeing tips to ensure that everyone is given the right tools to perform to the best of their ability.

Taking inspiration from the on-site classes offered at MADE, the 40-minute sessions range from high intensity sessions to slow living yoga and meditation. These live classes are available each week with a dedicated timetable filled with over 20 classes to choose from. Perfect to fit around any schedule, classes are dotted throughout the day including the choice of early morning, mid-morning family yoga, a lunchtime workout or early evening session.

Virtual membership is currently free for existing MADE members and NHS staff, or available at a cost of £3.50 per household for new members.

Full Virtual MADE membership with access to the full range of classes and experts costs £24 per month for a minimum sign-up of three months.
