Six years after it was first launched, Thalgo has created the new Marine Silicium Complex, genuine anti-ageing 3D architecture
Silicium Marin combines two active sources of silicium to restore the skin’s reserves and restructure the skin for a plumped, firmed, more toned appearance. The launch comes after new research, conducted alongside a specialist slicium laboratory, which led Thalgo to the development of three specific multi-action treatment formulas.
Thalgo launched a new research study into the restructuring effects of this trace element in 2014, alongside a specialist silicium laboratory, with the backing of the Sophia-Antipolis Science University.
This study offered the first proof of silicium’s effectiveness in rejuvinating the skin. One of the body’s main trace elements, silicium is essential to connective tissue and maintaining the architecture of the extracellular matrix. Derived from two sources for optimum, long-lasting release, the silicium in the new range is up to 77% more concentrated than in the original formula.
