After years of planning, the highly-anticipated Cliveden Spa at the Relais & Châteaux country house hotel in Berkshire will open this summer
The spa’s debut will mark the final chapter of the Berkshire property’s four-year, no-expense-spared refurbishment. The new ‘Garden Spa' will offer seven treatment rooms, designated areas of relaxation, an indoor pool, a sauna and steam rooms as well as a manicure/pedicure salon.
There will be a new restaurant and lounge area overlooking the serene Spa Garden, with the option of al fresco service.
Cliveden Spa’s famous outdoor ‘Profumo Pool’ – the only historically listed swimming pool in England – will remain a focal point of the Garden Spa, which is hidden away behind the brick walls of the garden, screened by rose and jasmine.
A concealed glazed walkway will bring hotel guests directly to the sanctuary of the spa, without having to venture outside.
