The Falls Spa at the Lodore Falls Hotel has opened to the public as part of a £10m redevelopment of the luxury hotel.
Situated in the Lake District with views of Derwentwater and the Catbells Mountain Range, the destination spa has been designed to offer a cosy, Scandi-inspired retreat.
As well as alfresco spa experiences including an open-air cold drench bucket and hot shower, the spa offers a 16-meter outdoor infinity-edge vitality pool, one of the largest in the country, with neck jets, underwater loungers and an overflow hot tub.
The Falls Spa also includes a glass-fronted Finnish sauna, a four-person mud rasul, an ice fountain and four thermal suites: a laconium, salt steam room, aroma steam room and herbal sauna.
Treatments are provided by Elemis and La Sultane De Saba.
The Falls Spa is the only spa in the north of the country to offer the La Sultane De Saba Akwaterra Massage, a full-body experience using ceramic ergonomic Akwaterra tools filled with hot water to completely relax and rejuvenate the body.
