The Kingsley is a luxury spa hotel in the heart of Cork City and is proud to announce that it believes it is Ireland’s first spa venue to offer CBD treatments.
Amy Brady, Deputy Spa Manager at The Kingsley says: “After using CBD for 12 months, I decided to create a Signature CBD Treatment to show others the benefits and effects of using CBD and diminish the stigma around the products. After all, Cannabidiol is a popular natural remedy used for many common ailments and CBD is an enticing choice for people seeking pain and symptom treatment without the mind-altering effects of cannabis or the additional adverse effects associated with some pharmaceutical medicines”.
The special CBD treatment is customised using a range of techniques including Swedish massage and massage tools. The client’s journey will consist of a consultation focusing on a specified area, choosing from Back, Neck & Shoulders, Hips & Legs and Front of the Body. Hot and cold techniques are used including a scrub, to help increase blood circulation and to allow the blend of CBD Oil and Sage Oil to penetrate deeper into the muscles. This CBD Ritual can promote pain relief, reduced anxiety, and reduced muscle tension.
